How to Activate DND in Aircel

Now get rid of all your unwanted calls and SMS's that interfere in your private life. Aircel offers you a   privileged service which was previously known as DND (Do Not Disturb) and now known as NCPR (National Customer Preference Register).There are five basic steps which are to be followed while activating this service. They are as follows :

•  Registering/Activating NCPR.
• Types of NCPR and its categories.
•  De-Activating NCPR.
• Complaints and queries regarding NCPR
• Points to be kept in mind regarding NCPR.

         (I) Registering/Activating NCPR.

         NCPR can be activated in two ways. They are- either by SMS or by making a Call. You can Call or     
         SMS to 1909 and in neither case you will be charged. Processing will take a minimum of 7 days.

         (II)Types of NCPR and its categories.

        1. Fully blocked category

     To stop all Commercial communication on your mobile either SMS or Voice Call, subscribe to Fully 
     blocked category.

     Send SMS START to 1909

     Call 1909

        2. Partially blocked category
              Send SMS START to 1909
              Call 1909

Partially blocked category helps you to get rid of all commercial voice Calls and receive SMS's of the category of your preference such as Movie updates, Online portals, Shopping options etc.

      

Replace the X with the choice of your category which are as follows :

      Ø  Health

      Ø  Education

      Ø  Tourism

      Ø  Real Estate

      Ø  Banking & Insurance

      Ø Consumer Goods & Automobiles

For multiple categories separate the numbers with a comma. Eg :- START 1,3,5.
To change your current subscription, give a fresh request of your choice.

(III)  De-activating NCPR.
De-Activating NCPR will enable you to receive all kinds of unwanted Commercial Calls and SMS's again

Call 1909

(IV) Complaints and queries regarding NCPR.
        For detailed queries or complaints call 1909.
(V)  Points to be kept in mind regarding NCPR.

• 1909 is a Toll-free number, no charges applicable.
• The process of NCPR requires 7 days for activation and a confirmation will be sent to you within 24   hours.
•  There must be at least 3 months gap between two consecutive NCPR requests.
